: : [Crypto/Report] Ethereum Korea One: Ethereum in 2026 and beyond Written by @r2Jamong - Ethereum is already the default settlement layer for institutional assets onchain. More than half of all stablecoins and the largest share of tokenized real-world assets sit in the Ethereum ecosystem. BlackRock's treasury fund, JPMorgan's deposit token and other large institutions settle there. - They choose Ethereum for what only Ethereum has. Speed is not the draw. Eleven years without downtime, political neutrality, censorship resistance and the largest ecosystem are. Faster and cheaper networks will keep launching, and none of them can replace those properties in a short time. - ETH is now treated as an asset with cash flow. 34.8% of supply is staked, a new all-time high. The ETH that institutions buy gets staked and becomes network security, and that security in turn supports demand for the asset. - The era of general-purpose L2s is over. Companies with their own business and their own users now build their own chains on proven stacks, and what those chains share is that they settle to Ethereum. The decision that matters is which part of the Ethereum stack to use. This report was distributed to Korean institutional participants at Ethereum Korea One and was co-authored with @nonceclassic. Part 1, “Ethereum in 2026 and Beyond: A Guide for Korean Institutions,” was written by @r2jamong from Four Pillars. Full Report: https://t.co/QJS5LP5RPi
