OPUS 5.5 + HIGGSFIELD CAN BUILD A $35,000 SITE FOR A 3D WEBSITE BUILDER, AND THE PAGE NEVER ONCE SHOWS YOU THE EDITOR. I scrolled for a while before I realised the fish was the demo, because a koi swimming through a pink gradient is not what a software hero usually looks like. the headline says 3D websites in minutes, and the proof is that I am already looking at one. I have sold builders before and I always opened with the interface, because the client wants his software on screen and I never had an argument strong enough to stop him.. "THE PRODUCT IS THE PAGE" there is no screenshot of a canvas, no toolbar, no layers panel and no cursor hovering over a widget anywhere near the top of this site. the only evidence offered is the site itself, which is doing the exact thing the product promises. it works because a builder is judged on output, and the output is the one thing a screenshot of a dashboard can never show. every builder I have worked on put the UI in the hero, and every one of those heroes made the software look like work rather than like a result.. "THE AWARDS SIT IN THE MIDDLE, NOT THE TOP" the badges for site of the day and web design trend of the year are placed a full screen below the fold, next to a row of customer sites. nobody is asked to trust the brand before they have seen anything made with it. putting proof after the demonstration instead of in front of it is a small reordering with a big effect on how pushy the page feels. I usually park trust badges in the header, because that is where the client looks for them in the first review.. "THE SERVICE IS SOLD AS THREE STEPS WITH THREE OBJECTS" the done for you section runs tell us about yourself, pick your theme, edit and launch, and each step carries its own little 3D object rather than an icon. a cube, a shape and a glowing form, all rendered in the same world as the hero, so the explanation looks like it came from inside the product. icons would have been faster to build and the section would have quietly turned into every other pricing page on the internet.. "THE PAGE ENDS UNDERWATER" near the bottom the whole screen becomes an ocean, with jellyfish floating through blue light and coral along the base, and the line start building magic today sits in the middle of it. by that point you have been inside a 3D scene for most of a minute, so the invitation to build one lands as an obvious next step rather than as a sales line. the call to action is the quietest text on the entire page, and it is the only one I would have fought to make bigger.. "THE PRICING IS THE ONLY FLAT PART" the plan cards are plain, dark and almost boring, sitting directly underneath the most elaborate scene on the site. that contrast is deliberate, because after a page of movement the one place a buyer needs stillness is the place where he is deciding to pay. I have decorated pricing tables for years and I now think every one of those decorations cost me conversions.. Full guide in article below
