Attackers compromised the infrastructure behind MetaMask Staking, the company's Ethereum validator operation (formerly @Consensys Staking). @MetaMask is now shutting down all its @LidoFinance validators as a precaution, and the last ones should stop running by 7 October. As of 1 October, nothing shows that wallets, Secret Recovery Phrases or user funds were touched, and no losses have been reported.
