#Privacy keeps doing this funny thing. #Crypto spends a few months acting like nobody cares about it...then another privacy product appears. Yesterday, zkmoney came back after three years, rebuilt on Aztec. Inside zkmoney, balances, payment amounts, history and counterparties aren't published on a public chain. It's also self-custodial. Deposits and withdrawals touching #Ethereum remain public, which is an important distinction. And yeah... I like seeing this. I've never understood why wanting financial privacy became something we're supposed to apologize for. I don't want my neighbor seeing my bank statement. I don't want the guy behind me at the supermarket knowing my salary. So why should everyone on Earth automatically get a permanent copy of my entire onchain financial history? This is also one reason I'm watching what #LibertySwap is building. Its Private route already integrates #RAILGUN shielded balances, while Liberty Shield lets users shield USDC into a private 0zk address into #ZKXwallet . There's even a gasless option. Different architecture. Same bigger conversation. Financial privacy shouldn't be suspicious by default. Sometimes privacy is just...privacy. Crazy concept, apparently. 😂
