Everyone knows that X is the largest hub—and often the earliest platform—for news on cutting-edge technologies and industries. As such, X is a vital source of information for anyone interested in Web3, AI, and technological innovation. But precisely because of this, X’s feed is cluttered with noise, as many creators—intentionally or not—generate vast amounts of low-quality content to monetize. As someone with discerning taste, you naturally want to find more meaningful information. Starting today, I plan to spend two weeks to a month organizing my X timeline, and I encourage you to do the same. First, go to your Home feed and pause accounts from industries you’re not interested in. This ensures your recommended timeline shows only the topics you care about. Second, actively engage with creators or content you enjoy—leave comments, like, and save posts. These positive interactions signal to the algorithm who and what you prefer, sending clear positive feedback. Third, use the negative interaction options in the top-right corner of posts—such as “Not Interested,” “Unfollow,” “Hide,” or “Report.” If you’re not interested in a creator, unfollow them. If you just dislike a specific post, select “Not Interested”—this won’t affect your following list. I recommend doing the first step immediately. For steps two and three, commit to doing them consistently for at least two weeks without interruption. This actively trains and guides the algorithm to serve you better. This same logic applies to other AI-driven recommendation platforms like Douyin and WeChat Video Channel. Start applying these steps today—over time, you’ll notice your information sources becoming cleaner and filled with higher-value content.
