🚨 Galaxy Digital allocated $100 million of its cash reserves to sUSDS, the yield-bearing stablecoin from @SkyMoney. The real signal isn’t the purchase—it’s what comes with it. Galaxy now accepts sUSDS as collateral in its institutional lending business, which serves over 1,600 counterparties with an average outstanding balance of $1.4 billion. And the collateral continues to earn. A client depositing sUSDS as collateral receives the Sky Savings Rate on the full value of their position for the entire duration of the loan. Depositing collateral no longer forfeits its yield. Three key figures for context: - $2.5 billion in cash and stablecoins at Galaxy as of June 30 - $5.52 billion in sUSDS supply by end-June, up 149% year-over-year - A B- rating assigned to Sky Protocol by S&P Global last year Galaxy also acquired Ethereum tokens: 0x56072c95faa701256059aa122697b133aded9279, though the amount was not disclosed. SKY has risen 14% over the past two weeks.
