$HYPE Is Holding the Highs, But the Real Test Is Supply Absorption

$HYPE is sitting around $94.74, only slightly below the $96.13 24h high. The chart shows a sharp recovery from $92.16, followed by higher lows and renewed buying pressure.

The bigger story is that this strength is arriving after real ecosystem expansion. Hyperliquid recently introduced borrowing with HYPE as collateral, while its platform continues directing trading fees toward HYPE buybacks and burns.

That creates an interesting setup: price is near record territory while HYPE's utility and demand mechanisms are also expanding.

Chart levels:

Support: $92.16-$92.03

Resistance: $96.13

Breakout confirmation: sustained acceptance above $96.13

Invalidation: loss of $92.00

The key question isn't whether HYPE can touch $96 again. It's whether buyers can absorb supply above that level and turn the previous high into support.

If $96 breaks and holds, the structure strengthens. If $92 fails, this recovery starts looking more like a rejection than continuation.

What the market is missing may be simple: HYPE is no longer being valued only as a trading token. Its role inside the Hyperliquid financial ecosystem is becoming increasingly important.
