The silence before a major crypto move can feel strange. The charts become quiet, traders become impatient, and then suddenly the pressure starts building underneath the surface. NEAR is one of the names catching attention right now.
NEAR is showing 3.7074 with a 24 hour gain of 4.45 percent in the screenshot. That kind of move puts the token firmly on the active watchlist.
What makes this interesting is the broader altcoin environment. Bitcoin dominance has been moving around the 59 percent area, while recent market data showed a large majority of altcoins outperforming Bitcoin over the week. That creates an environment where strong altcoins can attract additional attention if momentum continues.
For NEAR, I am watching whether price can hold the area around 3.65 to 3.70 after the initial move. Holding above that zone would keep the short term structure constructive. A clean push through 3.80 could open the door toward the next resistance area.
