$BTC IS BACK UNDER PRESSURE — BUT THIS MOVE IS ABOUT MORE THAN PRICE
Bitcoin is trading around $76.9K, down roughly 1.5% today after failing to hold the $78K area. The intraday range has already stretched from about $76.7K to $78.25K, showing real two-way volatility.
What makes this setup interesting is the timing.
BTC is facing a major macro and regulatory event window. The U.S. Senate is expected to take a procedural vote related to the CLARITY Act, while the Federal Reserve meeting is also underway. At the same time, rising Treasury yields and oil prices are adding pressure across risk assets.
For bulls, holding the $76K–$77K zone and reclaiming $78K would show that buyers are still defending the recent recovery.
For bears, another rejection followed by a clean break below the current support area could keep momentum tilted lower. Nothing is confirmed yet.
The big question now: Can BTC reclaim $78K, or is this the start of a deeper reset?
When macro pressure rises, Bitcoin’s real strength gets tested.
