Calling BLAKE2b coin XBT is confusing as hell; continuing to call it that guarantees its failure, imo. While I think BLAKE2b coin is an insurmountable uphill battle, I really hope I'm wrong and it somehow succeeds. But calling it XBT gives it absolutely zero chance of going anywhere - it'll never go beyond the small Discord group currently working on it. Just Google or Grok "XBT". It all points to BTC on the SHA-256 chain. XBT is actually used as an ISO-style ticker (representing BTC) on some BTC exchanges. Prompt further and it explicitly states the XBT rename on one small exchange (Neoxa) is not bitcoin, but just a confusing rename of the BLAKE2b coin. FWIW: I believe BTC on SHA-256 chain is centralized and no longer incorruptible. I kept it, but solely for NGU, not as immutable money. I also kept the hard forked BLAKE2b coin ... just going to let it ride for the foreseeable future and see what happens. I follow BLAKE2b coin status out of curiosity, and the ever so slight possibility it might succeed. To all those admirably trying to make this work, consider calling it something other than XBT.
