The Texas photo and the indian student section gettin a lot of run on my TL Two things can be true at the same time... 1) In almost every college setting there are tribal groups because thats just the way the world works naturally (if you say this out loud in the US as a white man you're a racist apparently) so seeing a block of a student section of indians isn't that big of a deal. Also it's how the ticket systems works as most sections with blocks given away to students 2) Texas is absolutely being replaced at a scale that is hard to imagine unless you've been on the ground in some areas... It's insane honestly. Indians and Somalians are basically all I saw last visit to Dallas and its surrounding areas. Texas is just a small window of a much bigger picture across the states, you can look at any demographic map over the last 30+ years and see the changes... if it was happening anywhere else it'd be called something else entirely. And it should be called out because it is beyond the point of no return in some areas imo... 200+ years of turning this country into something that people from every part of the globe wanted to come didn't happen by chance. You can't continue to pour people into these borders and expect it to stay the same... When you dive into the second order consequences (i know this is tough for a lot of folks out there) of adding so many people to a system you can see why it starts to crack and buckle in seemingly every area of our life. It would buckle and crack if you added this many people with the same values and views... and that is not what we have been doing.
