Proof of Reserves became an important part of crypto’s transparency conversation after the FTX collapse. For good reason.................. Users need a way to verify what a platform actually holds instead of relying solely on assurances. But there’s a limitation that’s easy to overlook: PoR is a snapshot not a continuous guarantee. A platform may demonstrate sufficient reserves at the time of an attestation, while its holdings can change afterward. That’s why I look at transparency more broadly when evaluating platforms like @ClappFinance . It’s not only about proving what exists at a specific point in time. It’s also about clearly communicating how assets are held, which entities provide the services and what framework governs them. Proof of Reserves is useful. But transparency should be an ongoing practice not a periodic event. 📍https://t.co/AMnwr34WsH
