When the vehicle was impounded, police found a firearm inside, prompting them to track Abdi to the apartment. Law enforcement records show Abdi has been arrested around ten times, mostly for driving-related offenses, and was previously convicted of a felony after being clocked at 108 miles per hour in St. Paul in 2024.
