Sellers now outnumber buyers by 51%. Waiting for prices to drop is a bad solution. Falling home prices will not help these owners, it will only give them a worse deal. Selling is currently their only way to get cash. Owners need cash without selling their homes. This option does not exist at scale. Because of this, 1.46 million people are forced to sell instead of just tapping into the wealth they already own. This market is missing a key product.
