MY TAKE ON ETHEREUM
Honestly, I still think Ethereum is one of the most important projects in crypto. It wasn’t just built to move coins around. The whole smart contract idea opened the door for DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and a lot of other stuff we see today.
But I’m not going to pretend everything is perfect. Ethereum can be frustrating, especially when network activity gets high and fees start jumping. For a normal user, paying a big fee just to make a small transaction makes no sense. The ecosystem is also pretty complicated compared with some newer chains.
I do like the move to proof-of-stake, though. It made Ethereum much less energy-heavy and gave staking a bigger role in securing the network.
For me, the biggest thing is whether Ethereum can keep improving its speed, cost, and user experience while keeping the security and developer activity that made it so strong in the first place. The competition is getting serious, so Ethereum can't just rely on its name forever.$ETH #Grayscale ZEC ETF nears launch #Justin Sun sues WLFI over token controls #Claude Code performance issues #Clarity Act faces Senate delay #Ethereum MEV extraction mechanics
