Circle has made cirBTC available on Ethereum for all Circle Mint LLC customers. The underlying Bitcoin is held in custody by Circle National Trust, a federally chartered national trust bank supervised by the OCC. Looking ahead, Circle is working toward a streamlined process that will allow users to deposit BTC, mint cirBTC, and borrow USDC within a single workflow on Circle Mint and Arc.
