$BTC Honestly, I still think Bitcoin is one of the few crypto projects that has a real reason to exist. The idea behind it is simple: people should be able to hold and move their own money without needing a bank or some company to control every transaction. That idea is still pretty powerful.
But I’m not going to pretend Bitcoin is perfect. The network can get expensive when things get busy, transactions aren’t always as quick as people expect, and mining uses a lot of energy. Then there’s the price. BTC can move so fast that you really need to keep your emotions under control.
What annoys me most is the way some people talk about Bitcoin like it’s guaranteed to keep going up forever. It isn’t. We’ve seen huge drops before, and we’ll probably see more. Leverage makes things even worse because traders can get liquidated on moves that Bitcoin itself might recover from later.
Still, I respect what Bitcoin has achieved. It has survived years of criticism, crashes, hacks around the wider crypto industry, and countless predictions that it was finished. Yet people are still building around it and using it.
For me, BTC is less about blindly being bullish and more about respecting the idea while staying realistic about the risks. I like Bitcoin, but I definitely wouldn’t turn my brain off just because the ticker says BTC.$BTC #AI code generation surge #AI infrastructure expansion #Harvard holds steady in Bitcoin ETF #Nvidia faces AI infrastructure risks #Kalshi faces Nevada geofencing dispute
