A 4% yield with a visible borrower and a filed lien is more valuable than a 20% yield with a anonymous smart contract and a governance token. People chase the number because the number is easy. The engine requires work. You have to read. You have to verify. You have to understand the legal structure. Most investors are lazy. They want the return without the research.
