Bored at night, I checked—here are the projects with the fastest growth in whale transaction volume this week: $H leads with a massive +500% increase. WBTC on Optimism rose 440%, while MKR and $TUSD both jumped +400%. Further down the list: SPX +238%, BORG +200%, RETH +200%, WLD +123%, CRO +122%, ENS +117%. Stablecoins and wrapped assets account for several spots, showing that large capital hasn’t been idle—there’s been plenty of rebalancing and fund reallocation lately. But personally, I’m more interested in the non-stablecoin projects. Santiment’s point is simple: when whale activity surges in a project, it’s often followed by increased price volatility. Still, after years of trading, my first reaction to “whales suddenly active” isn’t “Is this a pump?” 😂 Instead, I ask: Is this accumulation or distribution? Is real capital flowing in, or are big players just engaging in short-term speculation? Especially with projects like $H and $SPX—where the increases are so extreme—the potential for bigger swings ahead is high. So now, as seasoned traders, our habit is: keep watching, but don’t get hooked. When whales move, retail traders often chase the emotion—and end up as liquidity themselves 😅 The broader market is still ranging, so these localized capital shifts are worth extra attention. Watch closely—but hold off on drawing conclusions just yet.
