Galaxy Research: Ethereum, Solana Reconsider Inflation Schedules Galaxy Research Vice President Lucas Tcheyan said that Ethereum and Solana are facing the same key question from stakeholders: how much token security budget is needed to maintain onchain security, and whether adjusting inflation schedules is worthwhile. The discussion has not reached any decision and remains at the reassessment stage. Inflation rates are a key parameter determining future token supply; lowering them could improve supply-demand dynamics, while maintaining or increasing them would continue to create supply pressure. Lucas added that network stakeholders are increasingly linking security costs with token value, which could lead markets to reprice expectations for ETH and SOL supply.
