Fear of losing is one of the demons in trading. Initially you do everything right—proper position sizing, right bets, following setups—but as capital grows, people forget they can be wrong. Fear enters the subconscious. The right mentality turns opposite. A voice echoes, “How could I be wrong? I want to recover it in one go.” Then things start falling apart. The game turns into a field of fear. Whatever RR you followed earlier, any small profit feels like a win so you exit, but you hold losing trades desperately, wanting them to win—then you lose everything. No management, no system SL. Fear takes over your mind. You want to win so badly that you buy penny options, double down, and chase everything back. System following becomes delusional. You wait until you blow your account one fine day. You regret, feel pain, come back again. The loop repeats with no progress. Until one day you take control. You realize the boring way is the only way to make money. The one setup you follow all along makes you profitable—nothing more.
