NVIDIA founder Jensen Huang @JensenHuang: "There's no need for the U.S. government to take an equity stake in $NVDA." AI development is still in its "early stages"; a bubble will inevitably come, but it’s unlikely to happen within the next five years. The open-source model Kimi K3 has emerged strongly; Huang believes the short-term market panic is excessive—open-source models are overwhelmingly beneficial to the industry, driving increased sales of NVIDIA’s hardware and bringing advantages across the entire supply chain. Huang noted that tax revenues alone are sufficient for the U.S. government and its citizens to benefit, while NVIDIA has successfully created numerous jobs in the U.S. and supported the manufacturing reshoring initiative. He also argued that physical limitations are slowing AI advancement, making rapid bubble expansion unlikely, and that discussions about oversupply are premature.
