$BTC REALIZED LOSSES HIT $75M BEFORE REVERSING — PATTERN HISTORICALLY PRECEDES BOTTOMS
Bitcoin holders who bought one to two years ago — a cohort that accumulated between July 2024 and July 2025 as Bitcoin rose from about $62,800 to $107,000 — are exhausting their selling pressure.
The 30-day rolling tally of realized losses recently surpassed $75 million before turning lower, according to Glassnode data. The pattern mirrors structures seen at prior cycle bottoms. Cryptovizart, lead research analyst at Glassnode, noted that cooling and rolling over of realized losses has often been among the clearest early signals that the heaviest distribution phase is behind the market.
The realized loss reversal joins a growing list of on-chain metrics pointing toward a potential bottom. The next battleground sits at $69,000, the aggregate cost basis for short-term holders — a level that also coincides with Bitcoin's 2021 all-time highs.
