most people pick the easier path. not because they're lazy, because it's easier. faster wins, clearer feedback, a job at the end you can actually explain to your parents. i picked smart contract security. the ramp is brutal. the feedback loop is months. some days it's hard to tell if i moved forward at all. but the ceiling is different, and the doubt i feel most nights is just the price of aiming for it. if you're on a hard path too, you don't need it to get easier. you just need to keep showing up.
