Now history is repeating itself with blockchain and crypto. The world is moving toward digital finance, blockchain, tokenization, and digital assets, yet some people are still discussing this technology without even understanding how it works. Blockchain is a transparent, decentralized ledger.....it's not just "magic internet money." Not every crypto project is legitimate. There are scams, pump-and-dump schemes and gambling-like tokens and those deserve criticism. But painting the entire industry with one brush is neither fair nor intellectually honest. Instead of learning about the technology first, some issue blanket rulings that discourage people from even studying it. Years later, when governments, banks and major institutions adopt similar technologies, the conversation suddenly changes. Islam encourages knowledge, research and justice. If something is to be declared halal or haram, the ruling should come after a deep understanding of the subject....not before. People are free to follow whichever scholarly opinion they trust. This is simply why I believe new technologies should be studied carefully rather than dismissed outright.
