TENNESSEE UPHOLDS BAN ON CRYPTO ATMS 👀 A federal judge has allowed Tennessee's statewide ban on crypto ATMs to remain in effect while a legal challenge continues. The law, which took effect July 1, makes it a Class A misdemeanor to install or operate a cryptocurrency ATM in the state. State officials say the ban is aimed at preventing scammers from targeting vulnerable residents through crypto ATM fraud. The lawsuit challenging the law is still ongoing.
