Newton Newt Rough day down to $0.0461
$Newt is having a rough day down to $0.0461, off 5.92%, and the chart makes it pretty clear why.
Price had actualy been recovering nicely off the 0.0449 low, climbing back up toward the 0.0508 0.0510 area and even poking above the middle Bolinger Band. But that rally got rejected hard right near the mid band, and now we're seeing a sharp drop back down through support, breaking below the lower Bolinger Band (0.0451) territory on the last few candles.
RSI is sitting at 23, which is solidly oversold. Normaly that would hint at a bounce being due, but oversold can stay oversold in a strong downtrend, so it's not something to trade blindly.
MACD confirms the weakness DIF at -0.0011 and DEA at -0.0006, with a bearish crossover that's freshly happened and the histogram flipping red and expanding. Momentum has clearly shifted from the short lived recovery back into sell mode.
Volume wise, nothing crazy 24h volume is 9.18M NEWT / about $429K USDT, so this isn't a panic-volume dump, more of a controlled unwind after failing to hold the bounce.
$NEWT topped near 0.0599 a while back, and every recovery attempt since then has been getting sold into at progresively lower highs 0.0541, then 0.0510, now rejected again. That's a pattern worth watching. If it can't hold above the 0.0449 low, that becomes the next line in the sand.
