🇪🇺 Ripple strengthens its position in Europe after securing a full CASP license from Luxembourg’s financial regulator, bringing its operations under the MiCA framework. The approval from the CSSF allows Ripple’s crypto services to expand across the 30 countries of the European Economic Area, following the preliminary authorization received earlier this year. The license, combined with Ripple’s existing Electronic Money Institution approval, gives banks, fintechs and corporations access to its digital asset infrastructure, including XRP and the RLUSD stablecoin. Beyond regulatory approval, the move reflects the growing competition among crypto firms to build compliant payment networks inside Europe’s new regulatory environment.
