💷 Is the UK quietly making it costlier to park cash in your ISA? 📜BREAKING: From 6 April 2027, HMRC will apply a 22% charge on interest earned from uninvested cash held inside a Stocks & Shares (non-cash) ISA, until now, that interest was tax-free. 🪙 It's part of a push to get savers investing rather than hoarding cash. Alongside it: the under-65s Cash ISA allowance drops from £20,000 to £12,000, you can no longer move money from a Stocks & Shares ISA into a Cash ISA, and you can't hold an entire non-cash ISA in cash-like funds. Key point: shares, funds, dividends and gains stay tax-free, only uninvested-cash interest is hit.A nudge toward investing, or an erosion of the tax-free ISA promise? 👇 #ISA #UKTax #PersonalFinance #Investing #CNZNews2026
