$KEEL --- On June 9, 2026, $KEEL announced it closed a $458 million private offering of convertible senior notes (including full greenshoe exercise). After Q1 earnings (May 11) and this debt raise, KEEL’s liquidity war chest is staggering: as of early May, it held $336 million in unrestricted cash plus $197 million in unencumbered bitcoin, with only ~$4 million in current liabilities. Add the new $450M+ raise, and KEEL now has nearly $1 BILLION in available liquidity. Its balance sheet is pristine (current ratio over 9.6). Management explicitly confirmed this cash covers all G&A expenses through 2028—zero dilutive secondary offering risk that plagues most small-cap stocks.3 $KEEL also fully completed divestment and monetization of legacy Latin American mining assets (Paso Pe and other sites) in late April, with all capital redeployed to North America. Its three core North American AI compute campuses—Panther Creek, Sharon, and Moses Lake—are progressing flawlessly, with a massive 2.2 GW of power and zoning approvals already locked in. 1. Power Is the Ultimate AI Bottleneck—KEEL Owns the Scarce Resource NVIDIA’s B200 and Blackwell chips have no shortage of buyers. The real bottleneck for the entire AI boom? Data centers and grid capacity to power these extremely power-hungry chips. KEEL’s core asset isn’t its bitcoin holdings—it’s the 2.2 GW of long-term power agreements and land it has locked down across North America over years. By converting this capacity into Tier-3/Tier-4 HPC data centers, it can collect high, steady 20-year lease payments directly from hyperscalers. 2. Low-Cost Retrofit: Mining Sites → AI Data Centers As a former mining giant, KEEL already owns high-voltage substations, industrial cooling infrastructure, and an in-house team of veteran electrical engineers. That means it can upgrade legacy power sites to AI-ready data centers far faster and cheaper than traditional real estate developers starting from scratch to buy land and secure grid interconnection. 3. Game-Changing Valuation Re-Rating Is Coming Crypto mining stocks trade at single-digit P/E ratios and face constant pressure post-Bitcoin halving. But once KEEL’s HPC campuses start signing long-term leases in late 2026 through 2027, its valuation model will shift directly to match digital infrastructure REIT giants like Equinix (EQIX) and Digital Realty (DLR). That sets up a massive Davis Double Play: earnings growth plus multiple expansion driving multi-bagger upside.
