Don’t forget that the USG banned encryption in the 70s till Phil Zimmerman published PGP with RSA public key cryptography in 1991. The difference is they were trying to ban knowledge, but the Fable case is trying to ban intelligence leaking. No ban will be able to stop that from getting out for long.
