Six words hit two million views on X, and most people boosting them couldn't explain what they meant. "you should be designing loops that prompt your agents." i'll be honest, i read it three times before i understood why it was different from what i was already doing. The whole point is that you stop being the thing inside the loop typing prompts. you write the loop. the loop prompts claude. the model becomes a subroutine. The person who built Claude code deleted his IDE in November 2024. hasn't opened it since. 259 PRs last month, all written by claude code itself. That's not a flex. that's a five-year progression from writing code by hand to writing the loops that write the code. And someone built a whole programming language for $297 with a bash one-liner along the way. The part that got me: "loops are just cron with a hat" is half right. The scheduling is cron. what cron never had is the model in the middle making decisions. oh. that's the whole thing.
