🇯🇵 Japanese scientists built a tiny exoskeleton. For a rat. Researchers at Nagoya University strapped a cable-and-pulley wearable robot onto a rat to study how mechanical movement support could help humans recover from spinal cord injuries and strokes. The robot moves the rat's legs based on recorded data of how rats actually walk. The actual science is serious. Understanding how mechanical support restores gait patterns is directly applicable to stroke and spinal injury rehab in humans. The rat is just the messenger. Source: MikeKalil on YT
