honestly i'm just so tired of having this exact same conversation. everyone in defi is obsessed with mathematically perfect code. we audit every line to death but completely ignore basic op-sec. bridges have lost $329m across 8 major exploits in 2026. the $5.4m gravity bridge drain is just the latest hit. zero of these were clever smart contract bugs. every single one was just a compromised private key. we're building a smart contract fort knox and slapping a cheap padlock on the front door because founders think proper key management is too "tradfi". this space is going to keep bleeding 9-figure sums until we actually start taking op-sec seriously.
