CME Group is transitioning to a 24/7 trading period for Bitcoin futures and options. This is expected to significantly eliminate price gaps caused by weekend closures, which investors have long tracked as the “CME gap.” Effective this Friday, options will trade 24 hours a day, seven days a week on the Globex electronic trading platform.
