a lot of talk around Kohaku lately, so brief info on what it is Kohaku is EF’s push to make privacy part of Ethereum’s wallet/access layer. Before, Ethereum privacy was mostly “tools exist somewhere”, like tornado, railgun, stealth addresses, privacy pools, etc. useful, but fragmented and usually (in most of the cases) not part of normal wallet/app ux. and even older stealth-address work had real deanonymization issues in practice, so it wasn’t some solved thing so the idea is to plug protocols like listed above i.e railgun etc directly into wallets through a simple sdk, so users can get basic privacy without dealing with messy infra (sounds pretty convenient, doesn’t it?) the important part is they’re trying to make this intermediary-free too, using things like eip-7702 and 4337 relaying, so privacy doesn’t depend on protocol-specific relayers so if it works, Ethereum gets back some of that “cypherpunk edge”, i.e private stuff, better wallets, privacy built into the stack
