The White House just announced that Trump achieved historic trade results during his visit to China. Both sides established two new committees, serving as permanent forums for non-sensitive goods and intergovernmental cooperation. Then, China relaxed restrictions on rare earths and other critical minerals, processing equipment, and technologies. The only quantified results were China’s approval of orders for 200 Boeing aircraft and annual purchases of at least $17 billion in U.S. agricultural products. This outcome doesn’t seem particularly historic, does it? 🤔
