you have to understand the old data centers are NOT the new data centers >CPUs to GPUs >5 to 20 times more power hungry >east west communications, meaning it takes user input, process it, trains its models, then spits it out back to the user vs. just a database search and send >air cooling won’t cut it, liquid cooling only, directly straight to the chip even. > a lot more fiber optics going around for comms >a lot more raw materials used (copper, aluminum, steel… etc) >modular data centers manufacturers are making bank completely different than old data centers, and no it’s not a bad thing imo
