Brother Sun is seeking justice regarding $WLFI, and there are currently two opposing viewpoints on Twitter: First: Even Brother Sun got rug-pulled by WLFI—this proves the WLFI team is notorious; support Brother Sun’s fight for justice. Second: Brother Sun deserved to get rug-pulled—he’s pulled plenty of others before, and he got what he deserved for trying to dump the token. Here’s my take: I believe we should address this issue on its own merits. Brother Sun has done plenty of questionable things in the past, but those are separate matters. You’re free to criticize him for those other issues, but in this case, I don’t believe he did anything wrong. Brother Sun legitimately and compliantly subscribed to $75 million worth of WLFI tokens—and he was even serving as a project advisor. Yet the project team simply froze his holdings with a single click… This isn’t even Web2 behavior—it’s an arbitrary, unjustified freeze. He bought his tokens with his own money; he shouldn’t be blocked from selling them. If you can freeze anyone’s assets without cause, imagine how you’d feel if it happened to you. Regardless of whether he intended to sell or not, there’s no justification for freezing his holdings—he paid for them, he didn’t steal them. In this specific case, Brother Sun’s pursuit of justice is entirely reasonable and legitimate. The WLFI project team and the Trump family have shown truly disgraceful conduct.
