The issue with the EF manifesto is just people feeling like they've reversed course after the regime with Tomasz at the helm. It *felt* like the transition towards a lean, top-down business focused organization was the future for EF and Ethereum as a chain. Then, Tomasz stepped out and the manifesto came out shortly after and the community was caught offguard. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being the decentralized, trust-minimized, immutable chain in a sea of many chains that *do not* have this property. To me, it was the flip-flop that people are mad about. This too, shall pass.
