The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Ayush Varshney, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Darwin Labs Private Limited, on 10 March 2026. He was intercepted at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport while allegedly attempting to leave the country. Varshney is named as a key accused in the long-running GainBitcoin cryptocurrency fraud investigation, described by the CBI as one of India’s largest alleged Ponzi schemes. #CryptoFraud #CBI
