On March 3, @solana announced on its X platform the launch of its AI Agent Registry trust layer. The Agent Registry natively integrates identity, reputation, and verification registry information into the Solana network, providing each agent with a verified identity profile including agent identity, functionality & owner information recording the agent's operational history & supporting independent verification of agent performance by third parties. The Agent Registry is a Solana implementation of the ERC-8004 protocol, developed by Quantu AI, and aims to provide agents with discovery and trust mechanisms.
