Goldman Sachs currently allocates approximately 230 million U.S. dollars in crypto assets, accounting for 0.33% of its overall portfolio (according to its Q4 2025 13F filing), including BTC (1.1 billion), ETH (1 billion), XRP (153 million), and SOL (108 million). What is interesting is not that Goldman Sachs allocates crypto assets, but its allocation pattern. It allocates ETH and BTC at almost the same level. The market cap of BTC is more than five times that of ETH, but Goldman Sachs does not strictly allocate by market cap weighting, instead maintaining nearly equal scale, which also reflects its recognition of the potential of the ETH asset.
