Ethereum Name Service (ENS) has announced that ENSv2 will be exclusively deployed on Ethereum L1, and development of its own L2, Namechain, has been halted. The suspension of Namechain will not affect the feature roadmap of ENSv2, and the related contracts, ENS app, and ENS explorer are currently in public alpha.
