For each contribution, you earn points, which can be redeemed for NVG8 tokens. These tokens are used within the Navigate ecosystem.

Here's how Navigate (NVG8) works:

1. Sign Up: Create an account on Navigate's website.

2. Meet Your Navigator: This digital avatar represents you and adapts based on your data contributions.

3. Use Data Quest: Engage with the gamified app to actively or passively share data. Active sharing involves completing specific tasks, while passive sharing connects your apps to provide data streams.

4. Earn Points: For each data contribution, you receive points. These points can be redeemed for NVG8 tokens, which you can use within the Navigate ecosystem.

5. Ensure Privacy: Navigate prioritizes your privacy by anonymizing and encrypting your data. You control what information you share.

Navigate (NVG8) began in 2022, raising $7.625 million in seed funding. The funding round was led by Distributed Global, with additional investments from Alan Howard, Kraken Ventures, Jez Mohideen, and Outlier Ventures.

Initially, Navigate focused on collecting geospatial data from users worldwide. They rewarded contributors with NVG8 tokens, which could be used within the Navigate ecosystem.

In 2025, Navigate shifted to a broader data marketplace. This platform allows you to monetize your data and developers to build AI agents using this data.

Navigate's roadmap includes launching the Navicom Node in the second quarter of 2025. This will enable decentralized data collection and further empower you to control and profit from your data.

The Navigate (NVG8) token serves multiple purposes within the Navigate ecosystem:

1. Transaction Facilitation: Use NVG8 tokens to buy access to the Navigate data marketplace.

2. Incentives: Earn NVG8 tokens as rewards for sharing your data through Navigate's platforms.

3. Staking NVG8: Participate in staking programs using NVG8 tokens to support network operations and earn additional rewards.

4. Trading: Trade NVG8 tokens on cryptocurrency exchanges like KuCoin.

The Navigate token has a total supply of 1 billion tokens, allocated as follows:

1. Navigate Foundation: 533 million tokens (53.3%) are reserved for the foundation.

2. User Rewards: 120 million tokens (12%) are designated to reward users who contribute data to the platform.

3. Presale Investors: 127 million tokens (12.7%) were allocated to early backers during the presale phase.

4. Navigate Team: 100 million tokens (10%) are set aside for the team, with a 12-month lockup followed by linear vesting over 36 months.

5. Advisors and Partners: 82.5 million tokens (8.25%) are allocated to advisors, with 25% vesting after a 12-month lockup and the remainder vesting monthly over the next 36 months. An additional 7.5 million tokens (0.75%) are reserved for future partners and advisors.

6. Public Sale: A minimum of 20 million tokens (2%) are reserved for a public sale; any amount over this will come from the foundation's allocation.
