PowerPool is a decentralized protocol for automatically managed token portfolios, and smart indices. The protocol uses capital stored in portfolios/indices for generating additional yield from staking, vaults, and meta-governance. PowerPool is governed by CVP token holders, including protocol upgrades, new indices, portfolio strategies, and usage of meta-governance power.

PowerPool was launched back in August 2020 as a meta-governance protocol for accumulating governance power in Defi.

Driven by community decisions and major supporters such as Delphi Digital, PowerPool pivoted to developing automated Defi products such as smart token baskets and vaults.

PowerPool’s evolution led to Power Agent - a decentralized automation network designed to reliably execute transactions and automate complex on-chain strategies.

About CVP Token

CVP (Concentrated Voting Power) is the PowerPool native token. It serves the following functions in the protocol:

• Distribution of 100% of protocol earnings/fees to DAO members via xCVP (staked CVP) mechanism (proposed and implemented by PowerPool DAO).
• Governance of PowerPool protocol, products, and usage of the DAO resources, including re-balancing and yield strategy staking decisions.
• Meta-governance: CVP and xCVP holders decide how assets locked in a protocol products would vote in governance proposals by other DAOs.
• Power Agent network token. Anyone can stake CVP to become an Agent and receive income from participating in transaction execution.
