Common Reasons for Not Received Deposits

Made a deposit to KuCoin but it hasn’t arrived? Don’t worry. As long as the address was filled correctly and you remembered to use the required Memo or Tag, your funds will be processed.  

There can be many reasons that crypto deposits can be delayed. This article explains the common reasons and provides corresponding solutions.

  

1. Deposit does not arrive due to no TXID generated.

If you cannot find the transaction ID (TXID) of the deposit on the blockchain, this may indicate that the transfer was unsuccessful. It is recommended to contact the withdrawal platform to check the status of your withdrawal.

  

2. Deposit does not arrive due to an insufficient number of confirmations.

Transactions on the blockchain must be confirmed by the nodes to be successful. The number of confirmations varies depending on the coin and network.

You can check the amount of confirmations required on the KuCoin deposit page. Please be patient and wait until the confirmation reaches the required amount.

  

3. Your deposit amount doesn’t meet the minimum deposit amount.

Please check the minimum deposit amount on the crypto deposit page before making a deposit. If your deposit amount is lower than the minimum deposit amount, the crypto won’t be credited to your account.

  

4. Deposited to an incorrect address that doesn't belong to KuCoin

If you sent your tokens to an incorrect address that doesn’t belong to KuCoin, we’re unable to provide any further assistance. You may try to contact the sending parties for further assistance (owner of the address or exchange/platform that the address belongs to).
   

5.Deposit an unsupported token on KuCoin

Such transactions will not be credited to your KuCoin account. Please contact our online support for further assistance.

   

6.Deposit via an unsupported Network/Chain

Before making a deposit, please check that KuCoin supports the token and deposit network from the Deposit & Withdrawal Status page. If you deposit an unlisted token or via an unsupported network, your assets might be lost and cannot be recovered.
  

7.Deposit without Memo/Tag or with wrong Memo/Tag

Memos, Tags, and Messages are additional address features needed for identifying the transaction recipient of a wallet address. For some tokens such as EOS, XRP, XLM, and XYM, the deposit address for all KuCoin users is the same. The Memo, Tag, and Message are required for the platform to identify which account the transaction should be credited to. If you forgot or fill in the wrong Memo when making a deposit to KuCoin, the funds will not be credited to your account.
  

8. Deposit service has been temporarily suspended

KuCoin may conduct wallet maintenance for certain coins from time to time, resulting in a delay to transactions. Refer to the deposit.
