Roam मूल्य

Roam (ROAM) is a decentralized global WiFi network that enhances how you connect to the internet. It combines OpenRoaming protocols with blockchain technology to provide secure, seamless connectivity.

By using the Roam App, you can access millions of WiFi hotspots worldwide. Each connection and daily check-in earns you Roam Points. You can later exchange these points for ROAM tokens.

If you host a Roam Miner device, you contribute to the network's expansion. This device provides a stable WiFi connection and allows you to mine Roam Points. The more users connect through your miner, the more rewards you earn.

Roam's infrastructure ensures enterprise-level security and performance. It uses decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and verifiable credentials (VCs) to protect your privacy.

Roam Network (ROAM) is a decentralized global WiFi network that simplifies your internet connectivity. Here's how the Roam DePIN network works:

1. Seamless WiFi Access: Install the Roam App on your device. The app automatically connects you to nearby Roam-enabled WiFi hotspots without the need for repeated logins or passwords.

2. Earning Rewards: Each time you connect to a Roam hotspot or perform a daily check-in, you earn Roam Points. These points can be converted into ROAM tokens, offering tangible rewards for your participation.

3. Hosting a Roam Miner: By setting up a Roam Miner device at your location, you contribute to expanding the network. As users connect through your miner, you receive additional rewards, promoting a community-driven network expansion.

4. Secure Connections: Roam employs decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and verifiable credentials (VCs) to ensure secure and private connections. This technology safeguards your data and enhances the overall security of the network.

In essence, Roam Network transforms traditional WiFi usage by integrating blockchain technology, providing you with seamless connectivity and rewarding your engagement.

Roam Network, founded by Jeffrey Manner in 2021, is a decentralized WiFi network that offers seamless connectivity and rewards for users.

In December 2024, Roam released its "2025 Roadmap," detailing significant updates across products, technology, and community ecosystem. Key product developments include the launch of Roam Loan and Roam Discovery in Q1 2025, and an upgrade to Roam Growth by Q2 2025. The second half of 2025 will see the release of Roam App 2.0 and the introduction of the Innovator Hub to encourage developer participation.

Technological advancements focus on implementing the Proof of Presence protocol for real-time network interaction verification. Roam also plans to launch a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) in the latter half of 2025. By year's end, the integration of WiFi and cellular data networks aims to provide users with a seamless connectivity experience.

By December 2024, Roam has surpassed one million global WiFi nodes and serves over 1.7 million users, marking significant milestones in its growth.

Roam Network's ROAM token serves multiple purposes within its decentralized wireless ecosystem:

1. Network Participation: You can earn ROAM tokens by contributing to the Roam Network, such as hosting a Roam Miner device. This involvement supports the network's growth and stability.

2. Access to Services: ROAM tokens enable you to access premium services within the Roam ecosystem, enhancing your connectivity experience.

3. Staking and Rewards: By staking your ROAM tokens, you can participate in network validation processes and receive additional rewards, promoting active engagement.

4. Trading on Exchanges: Starting March 6, 2025, you can trade ROAM tokens on KuCoin's spot market under the ROAM/USDT pair. This listing provides liquidity and investment opportunities.

Roam Network's tokenomics are designed to support the growth and sustainability of its decentralized wireless ecosystem. The total supply is fixed at 1 billion ROAM tokens.

$ROAM Token Distribution

> Team: 200 million tokens (20%), vested over six years.

> Investors and Airdrops: 280 million tokens (28%), allocated to past and future investors, with a portion reserved for airdrops.

> Mining Rewards: 520 million tokens (52%), distributed through network participation and mining activities.

Roam Network’s Dual-Currency System

> Roam Points: You earn these within the ecosystem for activities like hosting a miner or connecting to WiFi hotspots.

> ROAM Tokens: You can convert Roam Points into ROAM tokens, which hold value both within and outside the ecosystem. To convert Roam Points into ROAM tokens, you participate in a "burning" process, reducing the total supply and potentially increasing token value.
