Banks now run $300B a day on @CantonNetwork 🤯 Most “onchain” finance is just a token. The real business still runs off-chain. $CC and @CantonNetwork could fix that. @YuvalRooz explains. 🎤 Would you trust Wall Street fully onchain? 👇 #Canton #RWA #Crypto

The cryptocurrency market is advancing as U.S. regulatory guidance and adoption by major financial institutions proceed in tandem. Staff from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Corporate Finance Division indicated that, based on the facts presented, Canton Coin—the native asset of the Canton Network—should be viewed as a “digital commodity.” They further stated that they would not recommend enforcement action against participants in the network who issue the coin in accordance with its programmed mechanisms, even if the coin is not registered as a security. This determination is not a broad, blanket exemption applicable to all cryptocurrencies. The SEC staff themselves emphasized that their position relies specifically on the facts provided and could change under different circumstances. Nevertheless, from a market structure perspective, it is significant. The Canton Network is known as a blockchain infrastructure designed for financial institutions, intended for transferring and managing existing financial assets such as stocks and bonds. By clearly indicating that tokens used on this network may be viewed more as commodities than securities, the SEC staff have helped reduce some of the regulatory uncertainty financial institutions face when adopting blockchain as a foundational business platform. In a related development, Morgan Stanley was reported to have become one of the first major banks to participate in tokenizing U.S. equities and Treasuries using DTCC’s tokenization service. DTCC, the central clearinghouse for the U.S. securities market, issues tokens on a blockchain backed by securities held in its DTC system. These tokens preserve the underlying rights and investor protections of the original securities and are exchangeable with their traditional counterparts—demonstrating that traditional financial assets outside the cryptocurrency market are now beginning to connect with on-chain processing. However, regulatory headwinds remain. Block disclosed that it has reached a preliminary agreement to pay approximately $764 million in connection with a U.S. Department of Justice investigation into its anti-money laundering practices. Under the proposed agreement, Block would avoid criminal prosecution for failing to maintain an effective compliance program under the Bank Secrecy Act, in exchange for a three-year deferred prosecution arrangement. Block has already set aside funds for this amount. Additionally, its Bitcoin-related gross profit fell to $52 million in the third quarter, down from $104 million in the same period last year—primarily due to reduced Bitcoin transaction fees on its Cash App platform. On the price front, uncertainty surrounding the U.S. midterm elections initially subsided; Bitcoin briefly dropped below $76,000 before rebounding to the $78,000 range. While a strengthened Democratic presence in Congress could hinder progress on crypto-friendly legislation, clearer election outcomes have triggered short-term buying pressure. The current focus has shifted to whether outflows from Bitcoin ETFs will stabilize, and whether the SEC’s individual determinations and DTCC’s implementations will evolve beyond isolated developments into a broader institutional framework. The next phase of market evaluation will likely hinge not only on price recovery but also on whether regulatory clarity, settlement infrastructure, and compliance efforts advance in tandem.

JUST IN 🚨🚨🚨 The first trades of tokenized US stock under the SEC's Innovation Exemption went through on Canton. $CNTN issued its own tokenized shares, recorded by Fairmint, an SEC-registered transfer agent. They traded on TSV and settled atomically on Canton. Five North sold, DRW Cumberland bought and Flowdesk provided liquidity. Holders get the same rights as with the Nasdaq shares, and only approved wallets can hold them. $CC Which public company do you think tokenizes its stock next?

Key developments today in the programmable economy. AI agents are receiving money and tools, major banks are integrating tokenized assets into their core operations, and the SEC provides its first concrete classification. • SEC: Canton Coin is classified as a digital commodity under a no-action letter, as its value arises from network operations—the first-ever case-by-case classification of a network token. • Morgan Stanley is tokenizing stocks and government bonds via the DTCC’s new service, which operates partly on Canton. Integration into its own trading system begins in 2027. • Mastercard and Cloudflare launch Agent Pay for Machines: AI agents make micro-payments in USDC through an established payment network. • The CFTC permits perpetual futures on individual stocks; a coalition led by Citadel and Cboe is challenging the decision. Trading tokenized stocks becomes regulatable, though jurisdiction remains contested. • Setback: The stablecoin market contracted by 3.8% ($11.5 billion) over 30 days. Meanwhile, tokenized government bonds exceed $46 billion, indicating some capital remains on-chain.

Peaq: Machines can now control Samsung SmartThings devices using their own digital identities. A new authenticity verification feature for robots has also been introduced. LayerZero: Exchange 21X has tested its entire order book on the new Zero network, measuring 45x higher performance. Currently only a pilot. Ondo: Ondo has submitted proposals to the U.S. SEC regarding rules for stock registries, actively shaping the regulation of tokenized equities. Cardano: Oil company Petrobras is issuing certificates for sustainable aviation fuel on Cardano to prevent double-counting. NEAR: The platform Hylo now operates via NEAR Intents, and a futures contract on India’s top 50 stocks can be privately funded through NEAR. Plume: FinChain, founded by Fosun Wealth, has launched a leveraged yield product on tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds. Plume Vaults now exceed $1 billion in value—growth, but also increased risk. Avalanche: Avalanche is now accessible to 2 million users via the Zengo wallet from eToro. Greater reach, but no evidence yet that this translates into value for AVAX.

$LINK

The silence before the storm feels intense, and Chainlink is starting to show why the market is paying attention. LINK is trading at 11.5139 after a 6.54 percent daily increase.

This is the kind of momentum that can turn a quiet market into an exciting one. Chainlink is a token worth watching when traders begin looking for opportunities beyond Bitcoin. The question now is whether the buying pressure can continue and push price into a stronger upward trend.

I am watching volume expansion, Bitcoin dominance, and whale activity for the next signal. If LINK continues rising while volume strengthens, that would make the move more convincing. If large holders begin moving substantial amounts onto exchanges, that could introduce selling pressure.

The 11.50 area is an important psychological reference. Holding above it would be encouraging, while a sustained move below it would weaken the immediate bullish outlook.

EP: 11.5139

TP: 11.95

SL: 11.15

The market is heating up, but the real opportunity comes when momentum and confirmation arrive together. LINK is on my watchlist, and I am waiting to see whether buyers can take control.

$USDS

The silence before the storm is not always about a sudden price breakout. Sometimes the most important signal is where capital is moving while the rest of the market begins to heat up.

USDS is trading at 0.9951, down 0.53% over the last 24 hours. As a stablecoin, its price behavior is different from that of a typical speculative asset. The focus here is not a traditional momentum trade, but stability, liquidity and whether the price returns toward its intended peg.

I am watching trading volume, liquidity across exchanges and the spread between USDS and its expected dollar value. Large transfers and changes in exchange balances can also help reveal whether traders are moving capital between stablecoins and risk assets.

Bitcoin dominance and the strength of the broader market are important context. If traders begin taking profits or moving into stablecoins, that can signal a change in risk appetite. If confidence returns, those funds may begin flowing back into other assets.

These are illustrative monitoring levels, not a recommendation to speculate on a stablecoin. Check liquidity, redemption terms and the cause of any deviation before trading.

Sometimes the biggest signal is not a breakout, but the movement of capital before it happens. I am ready for the move —

$XMR

The silence before the storm feels especially interesting when a coin like XMR begins gaining strength. Monero is trading at 637.09, up 1.19% over the last 24 hours. The move is quieter than some of the larger gainers, but that does not mean it should be ignored.

I am watching for an increase in trading volume that confirms stronger participation. If XMR begins attracting more buyers while maintaining its recent price structure, the current move could develop into something more meaningful.

Market dominance is another important factor. If capital starts rotating away from Bitcoin and toward alternative assets, XMR could benefit from renewed attention. Large wallet movements, exchange balances and the reaction around recent support levels are all worth tracking.

The next step is to see whether buyers can defend the recent trading range. A successful retest would make the setup more interesting, while a breakdown would suggest that the market needs more time.
