🔥 $BLAST IS MAKING A SHARP MOVE DOWN!

BLAST is showing a 27.08% decline in 24 hours, according to the screenshot. 📉 This kind of volatility can create opportunities, but it also carries serious risk.

👀 Can BLAST regain momentum, or will sellers keep control?

🚀 Watch for support, buying volume, and a confirmed change in price direction before entering.

⚠️ Pro Tip: Don't buy just because the price is down. Wait for confirmation and always manage risk.

Blast is shutting down. The Ethereum L2 that once held over $2 billion says it now costs more to run than it earns, and it sees no credible path to making the chain sustainable. The Block puts its TVL now at about $32 million. That is the full arc of points-and-yield growth, start to finish. But the part I keep thinking about is the exit. Blast says withdrawals will pause for about a week while it unwinds its Lido assets, then reopen with a 24-hour delay. Users can withdraw through the normal interface until 26 October. After that, funds stay withdrawable, but only by interacting directly with Blast's bridge contracts on Ethereum. Blast says it will publish instructions before the cutoff. This is the real test of an L2. Not how it launches, but how you get out when the team shuts it down. If you still have anything on Blast, including in its web app, plan your withdrawal now.

Blast has announced it will be shutting down gradually. The reason is straightforward: operating costs exceed revenue, and there’s no viable path forward. Previously, users waited for L2 airdrops; now, they’re waiting to see when they can withdraw funds 🤣. According to The Block, the team will begin withdrawing assets from Lido, with the process expected to take about a week, during which withdrawals will be paused. The standard withdrawal interface will remain available until October 26; after that, users must interact directly with the bridge contract on Ethereum. Promised as immutable and eternal on the blockchain, even this once highly anticipated flagship project lasted only two and a half years.

BLAST IS SHUTTING DOWN. USERS ARE BEING ASKED TO WITHDRAW THEIR FUNDS #Blast, the #Ethereum Layer 2 launched in February 2024, is shutting down after more than two years. The project was known for native yield on ETH and stablecoins, along with its Points/Gold incentive system. The reason is straightforward: the cost of maintaining the network has become higher than its revenue, and the team says there is no realistic path to making Blast economically sustainable. What users need to know: • Withdrawals are temporarily paused for about a week while Blast exits assets from Lido. • After withdrawals resume, there will be a 24-hour delay. • Standard withdrawals through the interface will be available until October 26. • After that, funds will still be accessible, but users will need to interact directly with the Blast Bridge contracts on Ethereum L1. The bigger takeaway: attracting users through incentives and yield doesn’t guarantee that an L2 can become a sustainable business. Blast couldn’t make the economics work. Another Ethereum L2 shutting down. Who’s next?

In 2023, Pacman tried to kill NFTs with Blur points farming to give birth to Blast Today, Blast is shutting down while NFTs are still alive, albeit down bad Seeing Blast shut down a day after the rarest punk getting sold is just vindicating Shows you that NFTs actually outlived Pacman, and the chain he built on the rubbles of NFT farming on Blur Bye felicia 👋

Blast is shutting down its L2... after being top 10 by TVL less than 2 years ago. That's the story nobody wants to say out loud: most of these Ethereum L2s are burning VC cash with no real revenue model, just points farming dressed up as "innovation." My prediction: at least 3 more top-20 L2s announce wind-down or merger by Q3 2026. Not a hot take, just math — sequencer costs don't care about your Twitter engagement. Meanwhile Kaspa's doing 10 BPS with zero VC allocation and nobody's talking about it because it's not shiny enough. When the next leg up hits, I'm betting POW chains like KAS eat into POS L2 mindshare way faster than people expect... these L2s needed subsidized incentives just to survive, Kaspa doesn't. Write it down. Who's got the other side of this trade?
